Flying with Air Vanuatu from Brisbane to Port Vila was the start of adrenalin pumped fishing adventure in the pristine waters of the South Pacific.

Whilst in Port Vila we relaxed in the comfort of the Erakor Island Resort.

Three days were spent aboard game fishing charter vessels Ymer and Nevagivup with the remainder aboard a variety of boats ranging from a dugout canoe and a weathered 4 metre tinnie to a 6 metre purpose built centre cabin sports fishing boat skippered by a mixture of locals and expat Aussies.

Apart from the use of an assortment of lures and poppers the locals introduced us to some rather unorthodox fishing methods and bait.
